HTT Inc. was certified ISO 9001:2008 and TS16949 in October.
In June, HTT Inc. purchased the assets of Eclipse Manufacturing in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. The acquisition increased our overall manufacturing and office space square footage to approximately 161,000 square feet. We moved our corporate offices to the Sheboygan facility shortly after the purchase.
HTT Inc. was awarded its ISO9001:2008 certification in September. In October, HTT Inc. obtained its ISO9001:2000 certification.
In August, Landmark Group (three local investors), purchased the stock of HTT, Inc.
HTT Inc. was certified QS-9000 in September.
In 1996, HTT Inc. purchased the adjoining property. A 11,000 square foot addition was added to the existing building. Three punch presses were also purchased at this time. The new addition plus a storage building on the new property brought the total square footage to 27,000. A third wire EDM, a second machining center and a water jet machine were added.
Computer Aided Manufacturing was implemented, a machining center was added, and the first steps toward a registered quality program (QS9000) were initiated. The workforce increased to 26 employees and sales reached almost $2,000,000 annually. Production stampings still seemed to be the best business opportunity.
In 1992, HTT Inc. moved its operation to its present location at 428 Cleveland Street in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin. The 10,000 square foot building allowed HTT Inc. to become a full service operation: engineering, manufacturing, wire EDM, heat treating, assembly, inspection, and production of parts. The company now had eighteen employees and sales of $1,000,000 annually.
HTT, Inc. (originally High Tech Tool & Die, Inc. of Waldo) was established in July 1985, by a three man partnership. With the help of a SBA loan and some machinery, a 2200 square foot building was purchased at 227 Harmon Street in Waldo, Wisconsin. Initially, HTT Inc. produced single hit pierce and trim dies, multi-state progressive dies, inspection gages and fixtures. Some contract wire EDM services were also provided.
